Each year St. Matthias Parish teams up with the United Way of Tri-County to support Marlborough community youth through the Back-to-School Supply Program. As the new school year approaches, the parish community is requested to donate school supplies and critical funds, with a goal of creating and presenting at least 15 filled backpacks to the United Way for distribution to students in need throughout the community. Volunteers are asked to coordinate the supplies and fill the donated backpacks with the donated age appropriate supplies. Monetary donations are always welcome to help the United Way fill in where the supplies are lacking.
