As we gather at this table
God we bring you thanks and praise
For the gift of all creation
For the gift of life this day.
For this meal, Lord, may we bless you.
Food and drink will make us one.
Hearts and voices joined together
Praise Creator, Spirit, Son.

Keep us mindful at this table
Of the tables that are bare.
In our lives as true disciples
There is much that we must share.
To the lonely, to the outcast,
To the needy and the poor
May we bring your food to nourish
All the ones the world ignores.

As we break this bread together
We recall the bread of life.
From this table to your table
We will feast through joy and strife.
We will sing your praise forever
Saints and sinners old and young.
We will feast at heaven's banquet
As the guests of Christ, your son.
